A bed lives with weight and humidity, so we kiln-dry and season the hardwood before machining. That’s what stops a frame twisting, creaking or splitting a season later.

On request we add borer and termite treatment, worth doing for humid markets where cheaper beds don’t last.
For export we use responsibly sourced, kiln-dried hardwood, dried to export moisture levels and borer/termite treated, so a bed passes inspection, doesn’t move in transit and lasts in a humid market.
